Bow ties with sausage tomatoes and cream

Ingredients:
2 tbspOlive oil
1 lbsSweet Italian sausage
-Casings removed, crumbled
1/2 tspDried red pepper flakes
1/2 cupDiced onions
3 clGarlic, minced
1 canItalian plum tomatoes
Drained, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cupWhipping cream
1/2 tspSalt
12 ozBow tie pasta
3 tbspMinced fresh parsley
Freshly grated Parmesan

Procedures:

2Add sausage and pepper flakes.
3Cook until sausage is no longer pink, stirring frequently, about 7 minutes.
4Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook until onion is tender and sausage is light brown, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes.
5Add tomatoes, cream and salt.
6Simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.
7Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
8Drain.
9Serves 4
