| cup | Milk (240 mL) | | 1/3
| cup | Butter (80 mL) | | 1/2
| tsp | Vanilla extract (2.5 mL) | | 1/4
| tsp | Ground nutmeg (1.25 mL) | | | Lemon juice | | | Confectioners' sugar |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat a large, heavy cast iron pan in the oven to 425°F (220 c). | | 2 | Mix eggs and flour. | | 3 | Beat well. | | 4 | Add milk. | | 5 | Beat well. | | 6 | Add vanilla and nutmeg. | | 7 | Melt butter. | | 8 | Remove pan from oven and pour butter in. pour batter in and cook for 20-25 minutes or until dutch baby is brown and puffed. | | 9 | Sprinkle with lemon juice and confectioners" sugar to taste and serve hot |
