Ingredients:
4 Eggs, beaten
1 cupFlour (240 mL)
1 cupMilk (240 mL)
1/3 cupButter (80 mL)
1/2 tspVanilla extract (2.5 mL)
1/4 tspGround nutmeg (1.25 mL)
Lemon juice
Confectioners' sugar
Procedures:
1Heat a large, heavy cast iron pan in the oven to 425°F (220 c).
2Mix eggs and flour.
3Beat well.
4Add milk.
5Beat well.
6Add vanilla and nutmeg.
7Melt butter.
8Remove pan from oven and pour butter in. pour batter in and cook for 20-25 minutes or until dutch baby is brown and puffed.
9Sprinkle with lemon juice and confectioners" sugar to taste and serve hot
