Maple barbecued caribou ribs

Ingredients:
2 cupWater
2 cupKetchup or tomato sauce
3 tbspWhite vinegar
2 tbspLemon juice
1/4 cupWorcestershire sauce
1/2 cupMaple syrup
9 Juniper berries
2 medOnions, diced
1/2 tspSalt
6 lbsCaribou ribs
Fresh ground black pepper
Procedures:
1In large non-metal bowl, combine all the ingredients except the ribs andpepper.
2Blend well and put in the ribs to marinade overnight.preheat the oven to 32Remove the ribs from the marinade, drain and pat drywith paper towels.
3Sprinkle ribs with pepper.
4Place in 5 qt. roasting pan in adouble layer.
5Roast 1 hour.
6Pour sauce over ribs.
7Increase heat to 350 degreesand bake until ribs just begin to char on top, about 1 ?hours.
8Turn ribsover cover pan and bake about 30 minutes longer, until ribs are tender andsauce is thick.
9To serve, place ribs on serving platter.
10Serve the sauce in agravy boat on the side
