Buttermilk biscuits

Ingredients:
2 cupFLOUR (ALL PURPOSE)
2 1/2 tspBAKING POWDER
1/2 tspBAKING SODA
1 tspSALT
1/3 cupLARD
2 tspLARD
3/4 cupBUTTERMILK
1 xMELTED BUTTER AS NEEDED
Procedures:
1Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
2Cut in lard with fork or pastry blender.
3Stir in buttermilk; mixing only until dry ingredients are moistened.
4Turn onto lightly floured board, turning several times to form a ball.
5Pat or roll into a circle ? to ? thick.
6Cut with small floured glass or biscuit cutter and place on a greased baking sheet.
7Brush tops with melted butter; bake at 450 °F.
8For 12 to 15 minutes or until golden in color
