Breakfast barley

Ingredients:
1/2 pintOrange juice
1/2 pintWater
2 ozDried apricots
1 pinchCloves
4 ozPearl barley
1/2 ozMargarine
1 ozMixed nuts, chopped, opt.
Procedures:
1Put the orange juice & water into a pan.
2Add the paricots cut into small pieces & the spice.
3Bring to a boil & add the barley.
4Cover & simmer for about 1 hour, until the barley is tender.
5Add more orange juice if necessary.
6The liquid should be absorbed when the barley is ready.
7Stir in the margarine & the nuts if using.
8Serve hot either as is or with a splash of soymilk
