| 1 | 1 egg, fork-beaten with a little milk 2 slices toast, crumbled 1 slice chedar or process cheese salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste scrub and pare potatoes, but do not peel. | | 2 | Slice lengthwise into fourths. | | 3 | Butter a shallow microwave-safe baking dish. | | 4 | Dip potato slices first into the egg, then into the crumbs to coat. | | 5 | Place the slices in the baking dish. | | 6 | Top with any remaining crumbs. | | 7 | Dot with a tablespoon of butter, if desired. | | 8 | Microbake on 100% power 3-5 min, or until potato is tender and batter is set. | | 9 | If desired, top with the slice of cheese and mw 1 minute more to melt. | | 10 | Sprinkle with seasonings |
