Kluski kapusta po (polish noodles and cabbage)

Ingredients:
1/4 cupButter
1/2 cupYellow onion peeled, chopped
4 cupCabbage, chopped OR
Thinly sliced
1 tspCaraway seeds
1/2 tspSalt
1/8 tspBlack pepper
8 ozPackage of egg noodles
1/2 cupSour cream (optional)
Procedures:
1Melt butter in a large skillet.
2Add the onion and saute until transparent.
3Add the cabbage and saute 5 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
4Stir in the caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
5Meanwhile, cook the noodles in salted water as directed on package.
6Do not overcook.
7Drain well.
8Stir the noodles into the cabbage and add the sour cream.
9Cook five minutes longer, stirring frequently.
