Ingredients:
1 packYeast
2 tbspWarm water
5 cupFlour
1 tspSoda
3 tspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
4 tbspSugar
1 cupShortening
2 cupButtermilk
Procedures:
1Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2Sift dry ingredients.
3Cut in shortening, add buttermilk and yeast mixture.
4Knead on floured board about a minute.
5Roll to ? - ? and cut in rounds.
6Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes on greased pan.
7Place close together.
8Dough can be kept in refrigerator up to a week covered.
9Best to let rise slightly
