June meyer's authentic hungarian spaetzle

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupAll purpose flour
1 tspSalt
2 tbspCream of Wheat or Farina
2 Eggs
3/4 cupWater
1 tbspButter melted
Procedures:
1There are many recipes for dumplings.
2Every family makes theirs a little different.
3Spaetzle are little dumpling, these are made with farina or cream of wheat.
4They are firmer than an all flour spaetzle.
5These are good in chicken soup, tomato soup, chicken paprikas, beef gulyas.

7Put flour, salt, and cream of wheat into a bowl.
8Make a well in the middle and add the eggs, water and butter.
9Stir until batter is smooth and thick.
10Cut the batter by teaspoon full into a big pot of boiling salted water.
11Dip the spoon into the hot water each time to keep the batter from sticking to the spoon.
12Cook only half the batter at a time to avoid crowding.
13Stir the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon so that the dumplings will rise to the top.
14After the dumplings rise, let them cook for 2 minutes.
15Remove from the water and drain.
16Serve warm.
