Ingredients:

| can | Tomato soup or cheddar | | | Cheese soup | | 1 1/2
| lbs | Ground beef | | 1/2
| cup | Fine dry bread crumbs | | 1/4
| cup | Minced onion | | 1
| | Egg slightly beaten | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| med | Clove garlic, minced |

Procedures:
| 1 | Ds oregano, crushed 3 oz mozzarella or mild process cheese, sliced mix thoroughly ?cup soup with all ingredients, except cheese; pat meat evently on baking sheet into 10 inch circle with 1 inch stand-up rim. | | 2 | Or, use a cookie sheet, placing 16 inch long sheet of aluminum foil (double thickness or heavy duty) on it. | | 3 | Turn up edges and sale corners to hold drippings. | | 4 | Bake at 450 °F for 10 minutes. | | 5 | Spoon off fat; spread rest of soup on meat; top with cheese. | | 6 | Sprinkle with additional oregano; top with mushrooms, anchovies, olives or sausage, if desired. | | 7 | Bake 10 minutes more, cut into wedges and serve. | | 8 | If using cheddar cheese soup, substitute 4 slices tomato, cut in quarters for sliced cheese. | | 9 | Submitted by jane knox on 09-15-9 |
