Ingredients:
1/2 cupRye meal or Plain flour
1/2 cupCorn Meal
1/2 cupCoarse whole wheat flour
1 tspBaking Soda
1/2 tspSalt
2/5 cupMolasses
1 cupSour milk
1/2 cupSeedless Raisins
Procedures:
1Mix dry ingredients and stir in molasses and sour milk.
2(to make sour milk, add 1 t vinegar to 1 cup sweet milk).
3Grease two #2 tin cans and place rings of waxed paper in bottoms.
4Divide batter evenly between the two cans, and cover with aluminum foil.
5Place in covered kettle of boiling water, bring water half way up sides of cans, and boil for two hours.
6When ready to serve, unmold by running knife around inside of can and shaking out onto plate.
7Cut thinly and serve with boston baked beans
