Ingredients:
1/3 cupSoft shortening/butter mix
1/2 cupSugar
1/4 tspNutmeg
1 Egg
1/2 cupMilk
1 1/2 cupSifted flour
1/3 cupButter, melted
1 1/2 tspBaking powder
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 tspSalt
1 tspCinnamon
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Grease bottoms of 48 small muffin cups.
3Mix shortening, ?c sugar, and egg thoroughly.
4Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
5Stir flour mixture and milk alternately into sugar/shortening mixture.
6Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
7Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
8Dip immediately in melted butter, then in mixture of cinnamon/sugar.
9Serve hot.
10Makes 3-?to 4 dozen
