Ingredients:
1 lbsSIRLOIN STEAK
MARINADE: SEE RECIPE-
-Marinade and Seasoning
-Sauce B1
1 GREEN PEPPER
1 largeONION
1/2 lbsTOMATOES, PEELED
4 tbspPEANUT OIL
2 tbspSOY SAUCE
1/2 tbspDRY SHERRY
1/2 tspSALT
1/3 cupWATER OR CHICKEN BROTH
1 tbspCORNSTARCH, DISSOLVED
-IN 2 tb COLD WATER
Procedures:
1Slice meat against the grain ?" thin, and cut into 1"" by 2"" strips.
2Add beef to marinade and toss to coat.
3Cover and marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator.
4Cut green pepper and onion into 1"" chunks; cut tomatoes into wedges and remove seeds.
5Heat oil in wok or skillet over high heat until very hot.
6Add meat; stir-fry for 1 minute.
7Remove and set aside-don"t over cook meat.
8Heat remaining oil in wok or skillet over high heat.
9Add green pepper and onion and stir-fry for 1 minute.
10Blend in soy sauce, sherry, salt, and broth or water; cook for 2 minutes.
11Add tomato wedges ,and meat and mix well.
12Stir in dissolved cornstarch; cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
13Serve at once.
