Ingredients:
2 cupCornmeal
1 cupAll purpose flour
1/2 cupSugar
1 tspBaking soda
1 tspSalt
2 cupButtermilk or sour milk
3 tbspOil or bacon drippings
Procedures:
1Combine dry ingredients; blend in milk and oil.
2Spoon into lightly greased 9" x 5" loaf pan.
3Let stand 10 minutes.
4Bake at 375 °F for 35-40 mins; let cool 5 mins before removing from pan
