Ingredients:

| cup | Tomato sauce | | 1

| tbsp | Margarine | | 2
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 1/4
| tbsp | Salt | | 1 1/2
| lbs | Beef flank Steak, ? thick |

Procedures:
| 1 | For sauce, in a small saucepan cook onion, garlic, and chili powder in margarine till tender. | | 2 | Stir in tomato sauce, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. | | 3 | Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. | | 4 | Boil 5 minutes or till slightly thickened. | | 5 | Meanwhile, trim fat from flank steak. | | 6 | Score steak diagonally into diamonds on both sides. | | 7 | Brush with sauce. | | 8 | Grill steak on uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 7 minutes. | | 9 | Turn and grill to desired doneness, allowing 5-7 minutes more for medium. | | 10 | Brush occasionally with the remaining sauce. | | 11 | To serve, thinly slice the flank steak across the grain. | | 12 | Broiling directions: place meat on the unheated rack of a broilerpan. | | 13 | Broil 3" from heat for 6 minutes. | | 14 | Turn and broil to desired doneness, allowing 6-8 minutes more for medium. | | 15 | Brush occasionally with sauce. | | 16 | **** per serving: 240 calories, 21 g protein, 5 g carbohydrates, 14 g fat, 58 mg cholesterol, 304 mg sodium, 436 mg potassium |
