Ingredients:
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cupHot tap water
3 tbspMargarine
3 tbspFlour
2 1/2 cupDiced cooked chicken
1 cupCooked peas
4 ozCan sliced mushrooms drained
1/2 cupSliced cooked carrots
1/4 cupChopped onion
2 tbspChopped pimiento
1 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water.
2(or start with 1 ?cup home made chicken broth for less sodium content).
3In saucepan, melt margarine, blend in flour.
4Add broth slowly, stirring.
5Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
6Add other ingredients and heat until mixture bubbles.
7Serve over biscuits, rice, toast.
8Remember to add the necessary bread exchange.
