Sour cherry soup (hungarian style)

Ingredients:
3 tbspFlour
1 cupSour cream
Pn Of salt
1 tspConfectioner's sugar
1 lbsFresh sour cherries, pitted
3/4 cupGranulated sugar
Procedures:
1Stir flour with sour cream, salt and confectioner"s sugar till smooth.
2Meantime cook sour cherries in 1 ?quarts water with granulated sugar till done.
3Take 2 ladelfuls of liquid from the cherry pot and add to the flour mixture; stir for a few minutes.
4Pour the mixture back into the soup and let it cool; this way it won"t develop a skin.
5Adjust salt.
6You must use fresh sour cherries for this soup.
7It is a very heavy soup and would be very good with just a light meal on a cold day or night.
