Ingredients:
| 1/4
| cup | Cold butter or margarine | | | -cut in three pieces | | 1/4
| cup | Fresh parsley leaves, washed | | | -and dried well | | 2
| small | Cloves of garlic | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| | 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, cut | | | -in pieces |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cracked peppercorns or chopped nuts if making cheese ball process garlic and parsley with metal chopping blade. | | 2 | Drop pieces of butter into food processor. | | 3 | Process. | | 4 | Drop pieces of cream cheese into processor and run about 20 seconds. | | 5 | Season to taste with salt. | | 6 | Shape mixture into a flattened ball. | | 7 | Roll into cracked peppercorns or chopped nuts. | | 8 | Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill for several hours, until firm. | | 9 | Serve with assorted crackers. | | 10 | Note: if you prefer, do not roll in nuts or peppercorns. | | 11 | Just chill in a bowl and serve as a spread rather than a cheese ball |
