Ingredients:
2 lbsHearts of Palm, shredded
1 tspMinced garlic
3/4 cupOnion, chopped
2 tbspLard
1/4 cupFish sauce
1 lbsSmall shrimp or prawns
-shelled and sliced
1 lbsBoiled pork, cut into narrow
-strips
1 lbsCooked crabmeat, flaked
Salt and pepper
Lumpia wrappers
Lettuce leaves
Your favorite hot sauce
Procedures:
1Boil heart of palm for 5 minutes; drain.
2Saute garlic and onion in lard until softened.
3Add fish sauce and shrimp and saute for 3 minutes.
4Add the pork and crab and heat through; season with salt and pepper.
5Add heart of palm and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
6Line each lumpia wrapper with a lettuce leaf and fill generously.
7Roll up and serve with hot sauce
