Chunky date, coconut and almond granola

Ingredients:
2 cupOld-fashioned oats
3/4 cupWhole almonds, halved
1/2 cupSweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cupRaw cashews
1/3 cupFirmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tspGround allspice
1 tspGround cinnamon
1/4 cupUnsalted butter
2 tbspHoney
1 cupPacked pitted dates
-- each cut crosswise
-- into thirds
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 300°F.
2Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl.
3Melt butter with honey in heavy small saucepan over low heat.
4Pour over granola mixture and toss well.
5Spread out mixture on cookie sheet.
6Bake 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7Add dates; mix to separate any clumps.
8Continue to bake until granola is golden brown, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes longer.
9Cool.
10(can be made 2 weeks ahead.
11Store airtight at room temperature).
12Makes about 6 cups.
