Ingredients:

| tbsp | Flour | | | Salt | | | Pepper | | 2
| lbs | Top sirloin, cut into thin | | | -strips 1" wide | | | Butter | | 1
| med | Onion, chopped | | 1/4
| lbs | Small button mushrooms | | 1
| can | Tomato sauce (8 oz) | | 1
| | Bay leaf | | 1
| cup | Sour cream |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine flour and salt and pepper to taste. | | 2 | Add beef strips and toss to coat evenly. | | 3 | Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet over medium heat. | | 4 | Add onion and cook until just beginning to become tender. | | 5 | Add mushrooms and cook briefly. | | 6 | Remove from pan. | | 7 | Add additional 2-3 tablespoons butter as necessary to saute meat. | | 8 | Add floured beef and cook until lightly browned. | | 9 | Combine beef and onion-mushroom mixture in casserole. | | 10 | Stir in tomato sauce and tuck in bay leaf. | | 11 | Cover and bake at 350°F. | | 12 | About 1 hour, or until meat is tender. | | 13 | Just before serving, stir in sour cream |
