Beef stroganoff

Ingredients:
1/4 cupVegetable oil
1 Clove garlic
-peeled and crushed
1/2 cupFinely chopped onion
3 tbspFlour
1 1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1 lbsBoneless beef sirloin, cut
-into thin slices
-?inch long
1/2 cupHot water
1 Envelope instant beef broth
3 ozCan sliced mushrooms
Broiled in butter, drained
1 tbspCatsup
1 tbspDry sherry
1/2 tspWorcestershire sauce
Dr (few) Tabasco sauce
1 cupCommercial sour cream
Procedures:
1In a heat-resistant, non-metallic, 10-inch skillet place ?cup oil and heat on top of a conventional range.
2Add crushed garlic and chopped onions to hot oil.
3While onion is browning, combine flour, salt and pepper in a paper or plastic bag and coat beef slices.
4Brown coated beef slices in hot oil with onion and garlic.
5When beef slices are browned, add all remaining ingredients, except sour cream, to beef mixture.
6Stir to combine.
7Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 5 minutes or until beef is tender.
8Add sour cream to beef mixture, stirring constantly.
9Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven an additional 2 minutes or until heated through
