Ingredients:

Procedures:
| 1 | Pound finely the chilli, onion and shrimp paste with salt to taste. | | 2 | Add lemon juice and blend well. | | 3 | Place in a bowl. | | 4 | This sambal is well known throughout the archipelago. | | 5 | However i recommend it only for addicts. | | 6 | If you want to make indonesian newcomers feel at home, serve it with vegetables, plain boiled rice and with a grill. | | 7 | Anchovy fillets, about 2 pieces, may be substituted for shrimp paste if you wish |
