Ingredients:
1 cupBrown sugar
1 cupWhite sugar
2/3 cupWater
1/8 tspCream of tartar
2 Egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tspVanilla
2 tbspVinegar
Procedures:
1Combine all ingredients except flavoring and eggs.
2Boil to soft ball stage (236°F).
3Pour slowly, beating constantly, onto egg whites.
4Add flavoring.
5Continue beating until thick and creamy.
