Toffee-coffee ice cream

Ingredients:
3 Eggs well beaten
2/3 cupSugar
3 cupMilk
2 tbspInstant coffee powder
3 1/4 ozToffee candy chilled
1/2 tspVanilla extract
2 cupWhipping cream
Procedures:
1In a medium saucepan, combine beaten eggs, sugar, milk and coffee powder.
2Cook and stir over low heat until sugar and coffee powder dissolve and mixture thickens slightly.
3Cool to room temperature.
4Break chilled candy in wrappers into coarse or find pieces by striking sharply with handle of a knife or hammer.
5Stir in broken candy, vanilla and whipping cream into cooled mixture.
6Pour into ice cream canister.
7Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions.
8Makes 2 quarts
