Peppermint-stick ice cream

Ingredients:
2 Egg yolks beaten
1/2 cupSugar
1 cupMilk
1 cupWhipping cream
1/2 cupPeppermint candy crushed
Procedures:
1In a small saucepan, combine beaten egg yolks, sugar and milk.
2Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and coats a metal spoon.
3Stir in whipping cream and ?cup crushed candy.
4Cool to room temperature.
5Pour into ice cream canister.
6Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions.
7When frozen, stir in remaining crushed candy.
8Makes about 1 quart
