| 1 | Peanut butter ice cream in small bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar or honey until smooth and creamy. |
| 2 | In a stainless steel bowl or top of a double boiler, set over a pan of boiling water, heat milk. |
| 3 | Reduce heat until water simmers. |
| 4 | Stir in egg mixture; beat well. |
| 5 | Stir slowly until custard slightly thickens. |
| 6 | Remove from heat. |
| 7 | Add peanut butter and beat until cool. |
| 8 | Stir in vanilla. |
| 9 | Pour cream and custard into ice cream canister. |
| 10 | Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions. |
| 11 | To garnish: chopped nuts, or peanut halves, or melted chocolate makes 8 servings |
