Peanut butter ice cream

Ingredients:
3 Egg yolks
1/2 cupSugar or honey
1 cupMilk
1 cupCrunchy peanut butter
Vanilla extract to taste
1 1/2 cupWhipping cream
Procedures:
1Peanut butter ice cream in small bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar or honey until smooth and creamy.
2In a stainless steel bowl or top of a double boiler, set over a pan of boiling water, heat milk.
3Reduce heat until water simmers.
4Stir in egg mixture; beat well.
5Stir slowly until custard slightly thickens.
6Remove from heat.
7Add peanut butter and beat until cool.
8Stir in vanilla.
9Pour cream and custard into ice cream canister.
10Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions.
11To garnish: chopped nuts, or peanut halves, or melted chocolate makes 8 servings
