Ingredients:
1/4 cupShortening
3 lbsRump Roast, Boneless
2 cupOnions, Sliced
1/4 cupUnbleached Flour
2 tbspSalt
2 tbspSugar
Pepper, To Taste
2 tspMustard, Dry
1/2 tspCelery Seed
1/4 cupWater
1 lbsTomatoes, (1 can)
Procedures:
1Melt shortening in a dutch oven.
2Add the meat and brown on all sides.
3Place the onions on top of the meat.
4Mix the flour and seasonings with ?c water.
5Blend with the tomatoes and add the misture to the dutch oven.
6Bake at 325°F, about 2 hours, until the meat is fork-tender.
7Serve with oven-browned potatoes
