Ingredients:
1/3 cupGranulated sugar
2 Sprigs mint
1/4 cupWater
2 tbspFresh, frozen, or
1 cupDiced cantaloupe
Procedures:
1Canned lemon juice combine sugar and water.
2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved; boil 1 min. add cantaloupe, mint; bring to boil.
3Remove from heat; add lemon juice.
4Refrigerate- remove mint.
5Makes 1 cup.
6Spoon over slices of vanilla ice cream; garnish with fresh mint leaves
