Ingredients:
3 cupSugar
4 cupMilk
2 cupWhipping cream
1 cupHalf-and-half
1/2 cupGrated lemon rind
3/4 cupFresh lemon juice
2 Egg whites, beaten
Procedures:
1Easter.
2Combine sugar, milk, whipping cream, half-and-half, and lemon rind.
3Pour lemon juice over milk mixture; beat well.
4Fold in beaten egg whites.
5Pour mixture into freezer can of a 1-gallon hand-turned or electric freezer.
6Freeze according to manufacturer"s instructions.
7Ice cream may be ripened for 1 hour, if desired.
8Yield: 1 gallon
