Ingredients:
3 To 4 lbs beef ribs*
1 Onion, chopped
1 tbspButter
2/3 cupCatsup
3 tbspSoy sauce
2 tbspCider vinegar
2 tbspBrown sugar
Procedures:
1* cut in 2 to 3-inch lengths place short ribs on a broiler pan.
2Broil until well-browned to remove excess fat.
3Transfer to crockery pot.
4Saute` onion in butter until limp and golden.
5Pour in catsup, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar.
6Heat until blended.
7Pour over ribs.
8Cover.
9Cook on low 8 hours.
10Makes 4 servings.
