Ingredients:
2 tbspCornstarch
1/2 cupSugar
1 canLowfat evap. milk (12-oz)
2 tbspLight corn syrup
3 Ripe med. peaches, peeled
Pitted, quartered
1/2 cupHalf and half
Procedures:
1In medium saucepan, combine cornstarch and sugar.
2Stir in evaporated milk and corn syrup.
3Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly; cook 1 minute longer.
4Set aside to cool.
5In blender or food processor fitted with metal blade, finely chop peaches.
6Combine chopped peaches, cooled milk mixture and half and half.
7Pour into ice cream canister.
8Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions.
9Makes about 1 quart.
