| 1 | Break spaghetti into 1 ½inch pieces. |
| 2 | In a deep skillet saute" onions in olive oil until translucent and brown. |
| 3 | Add tomatoes, tomato paste and pepper. |
| 4 | Lower heat to simmer and cook slowly for 20 minutes. |
| 5 | Bring 3 qts water to full boil. |
| 6 | Add 2 tbs salt and cook pasta al dente. |
| 7 | Add beans to cooking sauce and cook a few more minutes. |
| 8 | Start draining the spaghetti but reserve the liquid. |
| 9 | Now add back liquid until pasta and spaghetti are equal level in pot. |
| 10 | Now add the sauce while stirring. |
| 11 | You can adjust the amount of liquid to desired consistency. |
| 12 | Careful not to add too much or flavor will be diluted. |
| 13 | Add some black pepper to taste |
