Italian pasta fajoile

Ingredients:
1 lbsSpaghetti, uncooked
3 quartWater
2 tbspSalt
1/4 cupOlive oil
2 medOnion
28 ozTomato canned, crushed
1 tspTomato paste
1 tspPepper
16 ozWhite kidney (cannelli)

Procedures:
1Break spaghetti into 1 ½inch pieces.
2In a deep skillet saute" onions in olive oil until translucent and brown.
3Add tomatoes, tomato paste and pepper.
4Lower heat to simmer and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
5Bring 3 qts water to full boil.
6Add 2 tbs salt and cook pasta al dente.
7Add beans to cooking sauce and cook a few more minutes.
8Start draining the spaghetti but reserve the liquid.
9Now add back liquid until pasta and spaghetti are equal level in pot.
10Now add the sauce while stirring.
11You can adjust the amount of liquid to desired consistency.
12Careful not to add too much or flavor will be diluted.
13Add some black pepper to taste
