Ingredients:
1 lbsGround meat
2 tbspPlain dry bread crumbs
1 Egg
1/2 cupChopped onion
1 tbspVegetable oil
1 can(15oz) tomato sauce
1 can(14.5oz) whole tomatoes
- undrained and crushed
1 tbspGrated parmesan cheese
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspPepper
1 can(6oz) tomato paste
1 1/2 tspBasil
1 1/2 tspSugar
1/2 tspGarlic powder
1/2 tspOregano
2 tbspGrated parmesan cheese
Hot cooked spaghetti
Procedures:
1In bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg.
2Shape into 20 1-? balls; place on baking sheet.
3Bake at 375?for 25 mins; drain.
4In large saucepan, saute onions in oil until tender.
5Stir in remaining ingredients except cheese and spaghetti.
6Simmer while meatballs bake.
7Add drained meatballs to pan; simmer, covered, an additional 20 mins.
8Stir in cheese and serve over spaghetti
