Lemon sauce

Ingredients:
1 cupSugar
2 tbspCornstarch
1/4 tspSalt
2 cupBoiling water
3 tbspButter
3 tbspLemon juice
1/2 tspLemon rind
Procedures:
1Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt together in the top of a double boiler.
2Slowly add the boiling water to the mixture, stirring constantly.
3Cook over hot water for 15 minutes or until the sauce becomes clear and thickens slightly.
4When ready to serve, remove from the heat and add butter, lemon juice and lemon rind.
5Stir until the buter melts.
6Serve hot.
7Yields about 3 cups sauce
