Ingredients:

| cup | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Saltpeter | | 4
| tbsp | Black pepper, freshly ground | | 2
| tbsp | Brown sugar, firmly packed | | 3
| tbsp | Mixed whole pickling spice | | 3
| tsp | Ginger, ground |

Procedures:
