Ingredients:
2 cupFlour
1 cupQuick oats, un-cooked
1 tspBaking soda
1 tspCinnamon
1/2 tspSalt
1 cupButter or margarine, softened
1 cupBrown sugar, packed
1 cupGranulated sugar
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1 tspVanilla
1 cupLibby's solid-pack pumpkin
1 cupSemi-sweet morsels
Procedures:
1Servings: 25 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
3Cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
4Add egg and vanilla; mix.
5Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing well after each addition.
6Stir in morsels.
7For each cookie, drop ?cup dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet; spread dough into a ghost shape using a thin metal spatula.
8Or make a qiuck ghost pattern of heavy paper.
9Make 2 or three poses for realism.
10Bake 20-25 minutes, til cookies are firm and lightly browned.remove from cookie sheets; cool on racks.
11Spread with white royal icing.
12Trim brown face features with tube-icing.
13Yields 19-20 large cookies.
