Ingredients:
2 cupCornmeal
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspBaking Soda
2 tspBaking Powder
1 tbspSugar -or- Honey
1 Egg
1 tbspVegetable Oil
1 cupButtermilk -or- Sour Milk (1
-cup Lowfat Milk + 1
-tablespoon vinegar)
Procedures:
1Combine the cornmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl.
2Mix well.
3Pour into a lightly oiled 8-inch-square baking pan.
4Bake in a 400°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
