1/3 cupShortening
1/4 cupSugar
1/2 cupMolasses
1 xEgg
1 1/2 cupFlour
1/2 tspSoda
1/4 tspSalt
1 tbspCinnamon
1 tbspMace
1 tbspNutmeg
1/4 tspGinger
1/4 tspAllspice
2 1/2 cupMixed candied fruit
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 32Mix shortening, sugar, molasses & egg.
2Stir dry ingredients; blend into shortening mixture.
3Stir in fruit.
4Drop by teaspoonfuls about 1" apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
5Bake 12-15 minutes
