Blarney stones

Ingredients:
4 Eggs
2 cupSugar
1/2 tspSalt
2 tspVanilla
2 tbspButter
1 cupMilk, hot
2 cupCake flour
2 tspBaking powder
Icing
Powdered sugar
Milk
Peanuts or pecans
- chopped fine or ground
Procedures:
1Melt butter in hot milk.
2Beat the eggs with a rotary beater until light; beat in sugar, salt, vanilla and butter mixture.
3Sift flour and baking powder together; beat in quickly.
4Pour into a greased 13x9" pan.
5Pound the pan several times to remove any air bubbles.
6Bake for 25-35 minutes at 350°F.
7Cool the cake and cut in 4x1" pieces.
8Cover all sides with icing made of powdered sugar and milk to your desired consistency.
9Roll in nuts of choice
