Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsGround Beef
1 cupFresh Mushrooms, chopped
1 medOnion, finely chopped
1 smallCarrot, minced
Clove Garlic, minced
1/4 cupDry Red Wine
1/8 tspNutmeg
1/8 tspCayenne Pepper
2 cup(8oz) Mozzarella Cheese *
Egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cupParmesan Cheese
Jar Ragu Spaghetti Sauce **
3/4 packLasagna Noodles ***
Salt and Pepper to taste
Procedures:
1* shredded ** 28 oz jar - slow-cooked homestyle *** (3.4 of a 16oz package) cooked and drained preheat oven to 350?
2In a large skillet, thoroughly brown ground beef; drain fat.
3Add mushrooms, onion, carrot and garlic; saute until vegetables are tender.
4Add wine, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper; cook until wine is almost evaporated.
5Remove from heat; allow to cool 10 to 15 mins.
6In a medium bowl, thoroughly combine meat mixture, mozzarella cheese, egg and 1 tbls parmesan cheese.
7Pour ?jar spaghetti sauce evenly in a 13x9" baking dish.
8Evenly spread 1/3 cup meat filling over length of each lasagna noodle.
9Carefully roll up noodle.
10Place seam side down in baking dish.
11Repeat with remaining noodles.
12Bake, covered, 40 mins.
13Uncover, sprinkle with 3 tbls parmesan cheese.
14Bake 5 mins or until bubbly
