Ingredients:
1 eachMed. Carrot *
1 tbspButter Or Margarine
1 xPinch Dried Basil, Crushed
1 tbspWater
1 xPinch Orange Peel **
1 xSnipped Parsley (Opt.)
Procedures:
1* carrot should be cut into juilenne strips.
2** orange peel should be finely shredded.
3Place the carrot strips in a 10-ounce casserole.
4Sprinkle with water.
5Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power for 1 to 1 ?minutes or just till the carrot strips are crisp-tender.
6Let stand, covered, while preparing butter mixture.
7For butter mixture, in a custard cup combine butter or margarine, orange peel, and basil.
8Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 15 to 30 seconds or till the butter or margarine is melted.
9Drain carrot strips.
10Drizzle butter mixture over carrot strips.
11Garnish with snipped parsley, if desired
