Hearty burgundy spaghetti sauce

Ingredients:
19 ozChunky Stewed Tomatoes
5 1/2 ozTomato paste
1 tbspOlive Oil
2 Onions chopped
4 Crushed garlic cloves or
2 Minced garlic
14 ozCan Tomato sauce
1/2 cupRed wine or white (optional)
1 Sweet green pepper
1 tspDried leaf basil
1/2 tspLeaf oregano
Procedures:
1Heat oil in a large saucpan set over medium heat.
2Add chunky pasta-style stewed tomatoes with tomatoe paste and red or white wine to the sauce pan.
3Add onions and garlic.
4Saute for 2 min. add remaining ingredients.
5Cover and bring to a boil, stirring often.
6Then, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often for at least 5 min. add a pinch of sugar if needed
