Halvas moraitikos (halvah moraitikos)

Ingredients:
3/4 cupBlanched almonds
6 cupWater
1 cupButter
2 1/2 cupSugar
2 cupFarina (Cream of Wheat)
2 tbspCinnamon
3 tbspSugar
Procedures:
1Chop almonds except 6 or Put the water, butter and sugar into a wide pot, mix well to dissolve sugar.
2Bring to boil, then add farina.
3Stir the mixture rapidly to prevent its sticking and forming lumps.
4Simmer over low heat until it thickens, stirring constantly.
5Add chopped almonds and half of the cinnamon; stir well.
6Pour into butttered pan, spreading mixture evenly.
7Cool, and score into squares or diamonds.
8Put a whole almond on each piece.
9Bake in 350°F. oven for 15 min. remove from oven.
10Sprinkle with cinnamon and the 3 tb. sugar.
11Cool; cut and serve.
12Serves 6 to 8
