Greek cookies (kouradiedes)

Ingredients:
1 lbsSweet Butter (room temp)
3/4 cupPowdered Sugar
2 tspVanilla
2 tspBrandy
4 1/2 cupFlour
1 cupBlanched Almonds or Walnuts
-finely chopped
4 cupPowdered Sugar (addition fo
-dusting)
Procedures:
1Whip butter until light and fluffy.
2Slowly add powdered sugar, vanilla and brandy.
3Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time and fold in nuts.
4Use a teaspoon amount and shape into balls, ovals or cresents.
5Place on ungreased cookie sheets (will not spread).
6Bake 20 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven.
7Do not brown.
8Sift powdered sugar on plate and coat cookies completely while warm.
9Makes 75 cookies.
