Ingredients:
1 pack(or 1 tablespoon) Active Dry
-Yeast
1/4 cupWarm Water (110 to 115
-degrees)
1/3 cupSugar
1 tspGround Cardamom
1/4 tspSalt
1 Egg
1/4 cupMilk
1/4 cupVegetable Oil
1 1/2 cupWhole Wheat Flour
1 cupAll-Purpose Flour
1/4 cupGolden Raisins
1/4 cupWalnuts, chopped
Procedures:
1Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
2Combine the sugar, cardamom, salt, egg, milk and oil in a large bowl.
3Mix well.
4Add the yeast mixture, flours, raisins and nuts.
5Mix well.
6Add enough extra flour to make soft dough.
7Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
8Shape into a round loaf.
9Put the dough into a lightly-oiled 8-inch-round cake pan.
10Cover with a damp towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
11Bake in a 350°F oven 35 to 40 minutes, or until brown
