Ingredients:

| lbs | Shredded Coconut | | 1
| cup | Sesame Seeds | | 1 1/2
| cup | Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed | | 1 1/2
| cup | Vegetable Oil | | 1/2
| cup | Molasses | | 2
| tsp | Cinnamon | | | Raisins Or Other Dried Fruit | | 1
| cup | Wheat Germ | | 2
| cup | Shelled Raw Sunflower Seeds | | 3
| cup | Chopped Nuts | | 1 1/2
| cup | Water | | 1/2
| cup | Honey | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 3
| tsp | Vanilla |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 300 °F. | | 2 | (150 °F).. | | 3 | In a large bowl combine oats, wheat germ, coconut, sunflower seeds, sesame seed and nuts ( can include almonds, pecans, walnuts, or a combination of all of them). | | 4 | Blend well. | | 5 | In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, water, oil, honey, molasses, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. | | 6 | Heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not boil. | | 7 | Pour the syrup over the dry ingredients and stir until well-coated. | | 8 | Spread onto five 13 x 9-inch baking pans, or cookie sheets with sides. | | 9 | Bake 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. | | 10 | Bake 15 minutes longer for crunchier texture. | | 11 | Cool. | | 12 | Add raisins or other dried fruit, if desired. | | 13 | Put in airtight containers and label as granola mix. | | 14 | Store in a cool dry place and use within 6 months. | | 15 | Makes about 20 cups of mix |
