Ingredients:

| cup | Shredded peeled potatoes | | 1 1/2
| cup | Shredded cheddar cheese | | | Divided | | 1/2
| tsp | Pepper, divided | | 1/4
| tsp | Onion salt, divided | | 1
| lbs | Ground beef | | 1 1/2
| cup | Shredded cabbage | | 1
| can | (4oz) chopped green chilies | | | Drained | | 1/2
| cup | Taco sauce | | | Additional taco sauce | | | Optional |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine potatoes, ?cup cheese, ?ts pepper and 1/8 ts. | | 2 | Onion salt. | | 3 | Press into bottom and up sides of a greased 10" pie plate. | | 4 | Bake at 350°F. | | 5 | 20 minutes. | | 6 | Brown beef; drain. | | 7 | Add cabbage, saute until crisp. | | 8 | Remove from heat and add chilies, taco sauce and remaining pepper and onion salt. | | 9 | Spoon into crust; bake another 20 mintues. | | 10 | Sprinkle with cheese and bakae until cheese melts. | | 11 | Let stand about 10 minutes b taste of home ground beef collection 1996 editio |
