Ingredients:
6 eachFresh woodruff sprigs
1 eachBottle dry white wine
-(not too cheap)
1/2 pintOrange juice
4 ozStrawberries or raspberries
7 ozGinger ale
3 ozBrandy
20 eachBorage flowers
Procedures:
1Leave the woodruff sprigs for 1 hr.
2To wilt slightly.
3This will bring out their vanilla-like flavor.
4Put them into a bowl and pour on the wine and orange juice.
5Leave for 1 hr.
6And strain.
7Quarter the strawberries if they are large.
8Leave the raspberries whole, if using.
9Put the fruit into a punch bowl.
10Pour on the strained liquid.
11Cover with plastic wrap and chill 30 mins.
12Pour the brandy and the ginger ale into the bowl.
13Float the borage flowers on top.
14Serve as soon as possible in tall glasses so as not to lose the slightly sparkling effect of the ginger ale.
