Spiked eggnog

Ingredients:
12 Eggs
1 cupSugar
1 cupBourbon whiskey
1 cupCognac
1/2 tspSalt
3 pintHeavy cream
1/2 tspNutmeg
Procedures:
1Separate eggs.
2In electric mixer, beat egg yolks with sugar until thick and lemon-colored.
3Slowly add bourbon and cognac, while beating at slow speed.
4Chill several hours.
5Add salt to egg whites and beat until almost stiff, or until beaten whites form a peak that bends slightly.
6Whip cream until stiff.
7Fold whipped cream into yolk mixture, then fold in beaten egg whites.
8Chill one hour.
9When ready to serve, sprinkle with nutmeg
